Another of the Parkening Competition competitors who stopped by the showroom was Adam Kossler. Adam just received his DMA from Florida State where he was Bruce Holzman’s teaching assistant, and he has won prizes at quite a few competitions. Here he is playing Dowland’s Fantasia #7 on a Tetsuo Kurosawa ‘Standard’ and Bartolomé Calatayud’s ‘Waltz’ on a 2012 Rafael Moreno Rodriguez.

Thanks again for a great video guys! Its really wonderful to discover new players and music. I’m quite fond of that second piece, and I feel it compliments the guitar well. The deep mystical side of the song is nicely highlighted by the warmth of the guitar.
