"Concierto de Aranjuez" on Three Guitars - Feat. Marcin Dylla and The Kupinski Duo.
It turns out that one doesn't need an orchestra or piano to play Joaquin Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez"! Polish guitarist, Marcin Dylla, has recently recorded "Concierto de Aranjuez" with the accompaniment of his friends from the Kupiński Duo (Ewa Jabłczyńska and Dariusz Kupiński). Marcin recorded this video in Jochen Rothel's workshop in Sommerhausen, Germany. The guitars used in the video come from the private collection of Dr. Wolfgang Kieser. If you are curious about these instruments, two of them are listed in our online museum (1973 Edgar Monch CD/IN played by Dariusz & 1967 Daniel Friederich SP/CSAR played by Ewa). Marcin performs here on a 1912 Enrique Garcia. We have a different guitar by Garcia from the same year listed in our museum as well.
This video was released by the Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts - an organization sponsored by GSI.
